Nile Cruises
Many companies operate cruises on the Nile, with some of the most popular ones being Discover Egypt, Uniworld, Orbital Travel, Saga, Riviera Travel and Kuoni. Most are on a Full Board basis, but some are ‘All Inclusive’. At Nile Cruises with GoCruise our main objective is to help you to choose the right cruise line and the right boat for you.
Most Nile river cruises are for 7 nights, and include at least 10 free excursions, although some 3 or 4 night itineraries are also available on the 5 star MS Royal Esadora. Cruise boats on The Nile generally sail from Luxor to Aswan, and back and you can also add a hotel stay, with the main resorts being Luxor, Cairo, Hurghada, Makadi Bay, El Gouna and Sharm El Sheikh. If you wish to visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Gisa, you can do so while on a hotel stay in Cairo. Abu Simbel can be visited on an excursion from Aswan, either by coach or by air. Another great way to see Abu Simbel is on a Lake Nasser cruise, which is usually for 3 or 4 nights, and can often be combined with Cairo, a Nile cruise or perhaps a stay at Aswan or Luxor.

We can also offer a selection of Long Nile Cruises, ranging from 10 nights to 14 nights, which start or end in Cairo. Call Zoe for a quotation. See Wonders of the Nile- Cairo to Aswan
Spectacular Egypt & Jordan – combine a 7 night Nile cruise, with 2 nights in Cairo and 4 nights in Jordan. This gives you the opportunity to see all the main sites on the Nile cruise, plus the Pyramids, Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, as well as Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea in Jordan.
Flights are generally on Mondays from Heathrow to Luxor where you join your boat. Flights to Cairo operate on most days of the week from Heathrow. We can also arrange ‘cruise only’ on the Nile. The most popular time of the year for UK visitors to Egypt is from November to March, when the temperatures are lower, but there are departures 52 weeks of the year.
