The Riviera Travel river cruise ship ms Swiss Corona was built in 1984 and utilises state-of-the-art technology and safety features.

ms Swiss Corona accommodates a maximum of just 139 passengers and 35 crew. This gives her a passenger/crew ratio of less than 4 to 1 which is excellent when compared to other similar sized river-cruise vessels. With such a low ratio one is guaranteed a high level of service.

MS Swiss Corona has three inside decks; Diamond (top deck), Ruby (middle deck) and Emerald (bottom deck) and all 3 are air-conditioned throughout. Above these is a spacious sun deck with lots of deckchairs and sun-loungers if you want to relax in the fresh air. (Weather permitting of course)

A lift connects the Diamond & Ruby decks and a staircase gives access to the Emerald deck and Sun deck.

There are two lounges where you can relax. One is forward on Diamond deck and is the observation lounge better known as the Panorama lounge, aptly named for its panoramic windows. The lounge is beautifully carpeted and furnished with comfortable leather seating, sofas and tables. A full bar service is available in the Swiss Corona Panorama lounge. In the evening there is the peaceful ambiance of piano music from the resident pianist.

Aft on the Diamond deck of ms Swiss Corona is the much smaller Lido lounge equipped with bar, library and comfortable armchairs.

The main restaurant is on Ruby deck where dining on ms Swiss Corona is a single seating affair. Cuisine and service, as one would expect, are to a high standard and similar to that found in a first class restaurant.

A steam room, sauna and whirlpool can be found on Emerald deck.

Other facilities on board ms Swiss Corona are a splash pool on sun deck and a small boutique.

Cabins on Swiss Corona are all tastefully furnished and are amongst the most comfortable and best appointed on any European river cruise ship.

Emerald deck has 9 standard cabins (161 sq ft) and 1 suite (193 sq ft).

Ruby deck has 30 standard cabins (161 sq ft) and 2 suites (193 sq ft).

Diamond deck has 28 standard cabins (161 sq ft) 2 suites (193 sq ft) and 2 stern suite

Dress code on ms Swiss Corona during the day is casual whereas evenings is smart casual and informal.
