MS Charles Dickens is a 5 star river cruise ship which was added to the Riviera Travel cruise fleet in 2015.
This newly built, state-of-the art river cruiser was built to exact specifications by well-known ship builders Veka and is perhaps one of the best river cruise ships across the world. As well as a number of unique innovations the Charles Dickens cruise ship has been constructed using only the finest of materials including hardwood’s sourced from sustainable reserves, polished brasses and fittings from wrought iron. Quality furnishings sit on thick pile carpets throughout the ship and such is the layout there is lots of space, excellent illumination and beautiful décor.
Attention to detail is without question with glass used extensively alongside polished stainless steel and all this on a river ship built using the very latest in ship construction methods and safety systems.
MS Charles Dickens accommodates just 140 passengers plus 35 crew which is perhaps 20% less than most similar sized river cruise vessels giving that much extra space in and around the restaurant area.
